Perrier blazed the early trail for bottled mineral waters with a campaign that celebrated French sophistication and the cachet associated with the distinctive green bottles.

At the time, research consistently said “don’t tell us what it is, or how to use it”. These two posters continued the theme: one with a single word and no label; the other with a full history of the product but, again, little clue about why to buy it or how to use it.
